What should I wear for The Ropes Challenge Course?
General recommendation is to wear comfortable, slightly loose-fitting clothing that enables you to move freely. The ropes course is located in the woods and accessed by a short hike on maintained trails

What you DO need
Sturdy sneakers or hiking shoes ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED
(Socks also!)
· Long pants – Khaki or denim/jeans
· t-shirt or long sleeve shirt
· If you have long hair, bring something to tie it back with
· Fleece pullover and/or light jacket. Layers are always a good idea. The temperature here can fluctuate quickly, so be prepared. Even on a warm day it can get cool in the woods!
· If it looks like rain, bring a raincoat or Gore-Tex jacket.
· We have bug repellent available at the camp, however you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
· Water Bottle**
· Sunscreen
· Bring a camera to get great pictures of you and your friends!
· Most importantly… bring a positive, ‘Can-do’ attitude! It’s contagious!!
**The water here comes from an artesian well and is perfectly safe to drink, but it has a slight mineral smell and taste to it that some people do not like. You may consider bringing some bottled water if you don’t like the taste of ‘country water”!

What you DON’T Need
· NO Flip-flops, sandals, slippers, boots or shoes with heels. For safety reasons, people wearing inappropriate footwear will not be allowed to participate in the Ropes Program.
· Don’t wear dangling earrings, loose bracelets, watches, long necklaces.
· Try not to wear cotton clothing if the weather looks rainy, because it gets wet, does not dry quickly and you will get cold.
· NO cell phones, iPods, hand-held games, etc are permitted on the course, you will have no use for them, and there is a good chance that the devices could get dropped, damaged or lost during the program.
