Hello gang,

Jennifer Bullis, LIM's High School Program Coordinator is looking to hire an Student Event Coordinator at 1760 for a month. As the Student Event Coordinator you will plan and accompany prospective students around NYC and take them to different events and activities between the hours of 5pm-9pm.

This is a non-paid position but you do get a FREE Room to yourself.

Hey guys I hope you guys are having a blast with whatever has been keeping you busy these last couple of days. I personally had to serve for jury duty...OMG what a bore!! I hope none of you have to do this yet. Although I was not chosen for a case, it was a long day sitting around and waiting hearing the same thing over and over again. But anyway, many of us are excited about Nick's party, hope he is too! Keep enjoying your time off and if you want to read a good romance novel this summer I recommend Princess Annie by Linda Lael Miller or First Impressions by Nora Roberts. But yeah, enjoy your time off!!

Heyy everyone!! i miss you all already. it sucked sleeping in my room last night without daniella and karly and instead of alex or whoever walking in my room it was my dog = (. I wanna thank Brett, Teloki, and Yolande for giving all of us this opportunity. We came to learn but we left with a bunch of amazing new friends. I love everyone and i cant wait for august. hopefully we can be good examples to the fresh meat and they can follow in our footsteps. i already decided im calling out sick for work for nicks partayyy and i hope u will all be there. Love you guys!!

Rainy day in the city

Hey guys, I know it must be weird to be home again. But, what can you do. So like I was wondering, does anyone know what color our OL shirts will be? Hopefully they aren't red because then all the blonds will look like firecrackers! But anyway, it was fun getting to know everyone and like Bea said, getting to learn a lot about ourselves. Another thing, was it just me who was having a hard time writing their bio? For some reason mine kept sounding like I was a desperate lonely person who needed attention and was writing a bio for eharmony or something...so hopefully I wasn't the only one.

I'm looking forward to hang with you guys again and I hope all of you guys have a fun summer break.

HOME!??

So I am home now. So far not too bad but I miss everything already. Leaving everyone today was sad. This whole week was so much fun. It really felt like a real college experience and it would have to be the best week of college and probably my entire summer so far. I am so excited to see everyones pictures... so tag me!! I'm going to also miss the food. haha. We learned so much not only about LIM and being an Orientation leader... but we learned about each other and more importantly learned a great amount about ourselves. I wanted to thank Teloki Brett and Yolande and everyone else for such a great time.I am so happy I got to know each one of you a lot better, we got really close really fast which is amazing. Honestly, You guys are the first to see the real me (hehe) at LIM which means a lot. I hope most of you can make it to Nicks pool/slumber party. Last might we had a BLAST. Thats all I have to say about last night. The free LIM gear, Thanks! Nick and I had a LONG ride home to Long Island but it was a fun bonding with him. We'll be hanging out probably this week so anyone...come down to STRONG ISLAND and come chiilll. Hmmm... I'm hungry. But Idk I'm bad at these. I hope everyone keeps blogging!

wow .. its almost over

I must say I had one of the GREATEST weeks ever... from the sessions.. to the laughs, to thumper!, to KINGS, to the bus ride, all the FREE food, and of course deer run ropes course! Who knew the woods was so cool, brooke stay away from the nats lol!! but i must say team work, respect, leadership! are all a must with us.. we have grown so close and i love how we all came together in the dorms.. my body is sore as hell but it was worth it all! Ima miss u guys till next time we have one more day but i would love to keep in touch and BLOGGG to eachother.. who ever has pics please send me some!! welll ok im off for tonight lol im downstairs do our homework lol ...

Close to the end of the week

Hey guys, I just want to start off by saying thank you for everyone in my group and their support during the trust fall activity. Today was great and I think tomorrow will be too. I do agree that we all did get to know each other better and will be able to demonstrate that to our students. I also apologize for not spending the last night at the residence hall, but it was easier to get back home today than tomorrow being that its Friday and most people travel on the trains. But anyway, I am sad tomorrow will be our last day of training but I feel we are ready to tackle on new challenges. Our welcome posters and bios will be amazing and so will orientation.

So today was SOO much fun! I really agree with Casey on how we didnt have to really come together after all of our sessions and presentations..each one of us choose to hang out together as one at the dorms and go out with each other and i think thats AWESOME! So now since we all got soo close so fast i am going to miss all of you, but once August comes well all be reunited and hopefully our unity will really show and the incoming students will catch on and come together as well! I am excited for tomorrow making OL bios and posters, and just wrapping up our whole week long session of OL training..

heyyyy...

so last night was so much fun! Brooke GREAT recommandation! i think we all had a blast weither it was on the way there (aka taking 100 different subways) or on the way back (singing all sorts of songs) from the place. Ive said it before but ill say it again, i think we are all extremely lucky to be with such a FUN, laid back, and reliable group of people. Karly, Daniella, Alex and myself were all talking after we got back from Camp Deer Run about how we have all formed a little family on our own. If you think about it, we didnt all have to go out together we could have all went or seperate ways this whole week but we didnt and im really glad we didnt and i feel as if part of that is from the connection we see between Yolande, Teloki, and Brett.

Im sad tomorrow is the end = ( but i am TOTALLY looking forward to August!!!

I think we're all exhausted. Maybe a little bit bummed

that tomorrow is our last day of training WOOP WOOP.
